Tough 1000 Resin
Primary Applications
Compliant Mechanisms & Hinges:
With an elongation at break of 180% and a flex fatigue rating of >100,000 cycles, it is ideal for living hinges, clips, and snap-fits that must flex repeatedly.
High-Impact Jigs & Fixtures:
Use this for manufacturing aids on the factory floor that need to survive accidental drops, heavy impacts, or repetitive stress without shattering.
Low-Friction Assemblies:
Its lubricity is comparable to Delrin (POM), making it excellent for sliding surfaces, gears, and ball joints where you want to minimize abrasion and wear.
Squeezable Prototypes:
Because it can deform and return to its original shape, it is often used to prototype squeezable bottles, grips, and flexible enclosures.
End-Use Ductile Parts:
Improved resistance to aging, creep, and temperature fluctuations (compared to the older "Durable Resin") makes it suitable for small-batch functional parts
